The boy in the striped pyjamas is a book about a boy called Bruno and he moves to a place called out - with. His dads says its for business and Bruno finds the place very boring. He wants to go back to Berlin but then he meets a friend called Shmuel. He visits him every afternoon apart from if its raining. Each time he goes he brings food for him.
One day Shmuel says his dad went missing so the next day when Bruno came to Shmuel and he had some striped pyjamas for Bruno to wear. He put them on and went under the fence. They both walked over to wear everyone else was and then the solider mad then start marching into a dark room then they never saw Bruno again. He was dead
In the book there was loneliness and isolation where at the start Bruno had no friends and Shmuel was stuck in a area blocked out to the outside world.
