This is a cool Book written by Cory Jane. This book is about Cory Jane and his rugby career and all the funny things that he has done in the All Blacks. It also has Scotty Stevenson and Israel Dagg. Cory Jane makes lots of jokes about how Israel Dagg dose not have much hair left. 

I give it a 10/10

This takes place at Mouseford Academy on whales island . They find a door leading to a room the has ancient writing.To find out more about that book go read it for your self.

This book to me was good I enjoyed reading it  but the on thing they could of done is add more to the book.
I think this book is more pointed at girls then boys because their are more female leads in this book. But I think that I am going to rate this book 6/10.

This book is about to sister that always fight.This book is also telling my that both of the girls have different personalties one is a girlie girl and her name is Melissa and she loves pink things and also dress and things like that. And then there is Marty and she is a tomboy that likes things like comics and is messy as well. Marty and Melissa love to get into trouble and always fight. One time Marty and Melissa went into a shop and tock things and got into heaps of trouble.But the thing is they always do tricks on heaps of people.


I personnel loved this book I give it a 5/5 because I have a younger sister and also fight with here

This Book is about the history the the Olympic Games.In the book the Olympics games go to 1896/2004.It has cool and amazing facts like.One of the greatest boxer Cassius Clay Was only 18 when he won his first GOLD MEDAL in boxing.When Cassius Clay Converted to Islam and changed his name he was known as Muhammad Ali.

I personally love this book 5/5 for me also I reckomend this to everyone who is into sports

Kung-Fu Pigs

This book is all about  survival. There are 2 Teams,  The Pigs and  the wolves  so called the rebels.

The rebels went and attacked the pigs and destroyed  the village as they  were no match. The rebels  had the magic sword that could destroy anything and the pigs had bamboo.

My favorite part of the story was when one of the pigs had made magic shoes so they can even contest with the rebels but the problem  was the pigs could not fit there fat trotters in the shoes.

I personally rate this a 3 cause I didn't like the book that much and I didn't contain as much information

His Name Is Marcus and Hes 9.
He has no connection to sport at all lets just say hes a geek with computers.

The synopsis is Getting His son Marcus to try different things not sit around on his computer all day To give things a go even though you dont even know what your doing!!!

I rate this 4 because it is little easy to Read.My personal opinion I  recommend this to everyone cause its telling kids to give things a go and dont hide you your shell all the time.

This book is about Marie-Laure who lives with her father in Paris near the museum of Natural History which is where he works. At the age of 6 Marie-Laure becomes blind so her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorise it by touch to find her way home each day. Then a orphan Werner grows up to be a expert at building and fixing the instruments, which wins him a place at a brutal academy, Hitler youth... Werner travels through the heart of the war and finally into Saint-Malo where his and Marie-Laure stories join. I really enjoyed this book because I had never read a book like it and it also was around my reading level. By Karmen

The Twits By Roald Dahl 

This book is about an old lady and an old man that own 3 monkeys and they are very cruel to the monkeys. They make the 3 monkeys stand upside down and stand on each (while upside down). The old man would put glue on the tree to catch birds for his bird pie but the monkeys would warn them so they all joined together and made a plan to get revenge! I rate this book a 7/10 as it's not for my reading level.

He make lots of friend's and enemies. Awesome sports and house battles. But he does not know he is the chosen one...

Ronia The Robbers Daughter

This book is about a girl Ronia. She lives with her mum, dad and robbers. How she is brought up is that her family survives on what the robbers steal. Her father is the chief of the gang. Along with this gang there is also another gang that they call their enemies. They have been enemies for generations. 

Ronia's farther is now getting older and he has brought up the idea that when he retires he wants her to run the gang. Ronia does not want to do this because she is against what they do. One day she meets the boy from the other gang. He is called Berk and after talking they both agree that what their fathers do is wrong. 

I really liked this book because it had a lot of adventure in it. This book is an mixture of adventure, mystery and fantasy. I rate this book 8/10

this book is about a boy who had a dream about a pirate telling him where some treasure were and he woke up and he dug and dug he kept digging until the dirt pile got bigger and bigger and all that he could find was one of his dogs bones so he went inside and his mum was holding a 5 dollar note and she said thank you for digging me a hole for my rhododendron bush.

Because she cant afford to bye new camp gear such as sleeping bags clothes and a torch. But there is a midnight feast that girl 1 gets invited to. And the mean girl doesn't. And they have a really strick teacher. And if you read the book you'll find out more!!

Matilda By Roald Dahl
Genre - Classic Literature

Matilda is about a girl called Matilda. She lives with her parents and brother. Matilda did not like her family because they didn't treat her well. From a very young age Matilda was very clever. Most days she would get left home by herself because she was too young to go to school. While she was left at home she would walk to the public library and read for hours. 

When she was finally old enough to go to school she was extremely excited but there was one problem - her Head Mistress. Her Head Mistress was Mrs Trunchbull and she was very nasty. Although Miss Trunchbull was nasty Matilda had a very nice teacher and friends.

This book is a really good book and I liked it a lot. This book has some exiting moments in there and some dull as well. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes Roald Dahl books. I rate it a 7/10
