This book is about the history of the Tahitians and the island.This book has many interesting facts about the islands and the islands around Tahiti.French had lots of fights with the poor Tahitians over land.Around the 1800's and the 1900's Tahiti only had 600 Bugs  Wich include Mosquitos,Sand flys and Flys.I learnt plenty of things from this book. I learnt that wear all the colourful fish are and the coral that's not the ocean that's the logon and where the waves brake further out that's called the ocean .Tahiti is the huge/massive supplier of pearls.

I rate this book a 5/5 because I'm on a holiday here so when I go around the island I know more interesting Information about the plants,Trees,Fish,Animals and of course the locals that live on the islands.

One day Brian was on a plane to Canada to go to his Dads house because his parents had split so he and the Pilate were on a plane to Canada when suddenly the Pilate stated to hold his tummy and then the plane started to go up and down and the Pilate smashed his head into the seat and had a hart attack so Brian grabbed the wheel of the plane and flied the plane right into a lake he then swam to shore and slept right through the night. The next day he just sat under a tree and waited for the cover of night which came very slowly but it happened the next day  he went to search for shelter and he did he then went and found berry's that night a porcupine came into the shelter that he found and stabbed him right in his leg he pulled them out and threw his hatchet at it but it missed and struck the wall and set sparks alight the next day he made fire and then found a bear that he ran away from the next day he found turtle eggs and stored them in his shelter and then caught fish to eat he then came to a pack of wolfs and so he ran off the next day he saw a cow that kept on charging him into the lake. The day after that happened he made a  raft and swam into the lake where the plane was he went in there to find an a emergency  pack which he found stuck to the back of a seat he yanked and it came out he then went to shore and searched it he found a transmitter which he opened but nothing happened and then he found years worth of food and then a plane came and found him all Brian said to the Pilate would you like some food. The end.

One of the themes of this book was loneliness and Isolation and a example of this is when Brain was going to give up.

This book is about a old pale man hiding in a boys garage call Michael at first Michael was scared but later on in the book he begins to like then on he loves him, he find a girl called Mina and Micheal stepped into a crumbling garage he find a strange being sitting behind some tea chest Micheal makes an effort to know him he feels behind his back and feels somethings folded up like arms so he went to Mina's house to ask for her expertise on bird or bird things to see if see knew what he or it was.One of my favourite parts in the book was when skellig needed a bunch load of trust to let Micheal and Mina take him out of the shed and into the abounded house that belonged to Mina's grandpa

 This book is a bout this boy his name Michael he steps in to a very crumbling garage he saw a boy eating bugs and webs on him and dead fly. He thinks that its a human  or a human best. this human/ best has never been seen before. but the only thing he can confide is Mina. Mina and Michael they carry each other  in to the light and Michael worlds changes 

i pick this book a 5/5 because i like reading books know so i give it a 5/5

Unbearable by Paul Jennings

This book is a collection of books and one of my favourite one is about a boy and he can hypnotise things. First he hypnotise his dads favourite chicken and he had to take it to school. Then he did it to his friend so every time he heard the word "no" he would get up an dance around like a chicken for 30 seconds. So in class when the teacher said no he got up and danced around like a chicken. Him and his friend got in big trouble.

I recommend this book to people that like short and twisty story's.
I give it a 8/10

Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey
Genre: Young Teenager Comedy.


In Captain Underpants, there are two boys. One of them is called George and the other boy is called Harold. They are the naughty boys at their school and make Mr.Krupp, (The school principle) very mad. The two of them write comic books together and when they have finished them the take it to Mr.Krupp so he can read it. Mr.Krupp always gets made when he reads them because he thinks they are rubbish. George and Harold made Mr.Krupp turn into Captain Underpants. So now whenever someone clicks their fingers, he turns into Captain Underpants. There is also this scientist named Professor P Poopy-pants. He needs a new job because everyone keeps laughing at his name. He gets the job at the school and when he introduces himself to the class everyone laugh and he gets mad. He gets so made that he tries to take over the world with his previous inventions but ends up getting arrested.

I recormend this book to people who like funny stories with short chapters.
I give this book a 7/10.

Zac Power is a young boy around 12 years old. He secretly works for a spy company called GIB. GIB stands fro Government, Investigation, Bureau. At the start of the book, Zac was walking in the mall with his friend and saw a pair of shoes. He went to the shop and asked a man if they had them in his size. The man said no but they did have some new shoes that just came in. The man asked Zac if he wanted to try on those ones. Zac said yes so the man went to the back of the shop to get them. He came back with some ugly grey shoes with a couple of buttons on them. At first Zac thought the man was crazy but when the man gave Zac the shoes he said Zac's name. Zac didn't know but that man worked for GIB too. So now Zac was on a new mission and had to find the hackers that were hacking into GIB's software.

I recommend this book to people who like spy books.
I rate this book a 6/10.

This book is about a girl who has had true love and him passing away in a moter cycle accident and the sisters 2 best friends passing with a murder and suicide. With there mum passing they have really had it down hill.

This book to me didn't make a whole lot of scene and it jumped from scene to scene. Maybe It wasn't my type of read.

I rate it a 2/5 for me,
But that might just be me.

This book is about Stevens backround and his career.It has lots of interesting fact in this book such as if he didn't play Basketball or rugby he would like to do gymnastics!Hes 7ft tall and weight is 116kg!
When he was young his farther died so to keep in going through out the games he wore the NO.13 in college to show courtesy to his father and family but when you got drafted into the NBA he changed his number to NO.12 because that is the number he got drafted to the THUNDER/OKC.He was born in Rotorua, 20 July 1993 he went to Owhata Primary School,Mokoia Intermediate,Rotorua Lakes Highschool and Scots Collage.

I rate this a 5/5 cause I read none stop and I was Entertained by the amazing book

This book is about a very competitive and determinate surfer.
She was one day attacked by a shark while surfing with her friends and family. Unfortunately she lost an arm. Although this tragic event happened she still got up surfed some more and went to a big surf competition. She overcomes pain and strives for all things she put her mind to.

Because I have already watched the movie previously, I didn't get a very                  good picture that wasn't in the movie. But that okay because its a good story line that is all about strength and that you can achieve anything if you think its not possible.
