Adrian 20 book challenge 8/20

This book is about a thieving little boy called Hugo who wives in the vents of the train station. Hugo is very good at fixing broken machines or clocks. Hugo tried to steel from the toy booth to try fix a machine that his dad and him had been trying to fix until Hugo's farther died, but got caught by the owner Georges. Georges snatched Hugo's note book from his hands. Hugo tries to get it back and follows Georges home and meets there grand daughter Isabelle. Isabelle and Hugo become friends and work to gather to try get his note book with all of his work in it and to try fix the machine.  Once the machine is fixed they need a key shaped as a heart tho make it work. Hugo and Isabelle find that the key is wrapped around Isabelle's neck as a neck less. They put the key in the hole and it drew a moon with a rocket in it's eye and at the bottom corner of the drawing it drew Isabelle's grand dad Georges signature. Isabelle is puzzled so they go home and ask and papa Georges was a film maker before the war but after no one liked his work so he stopped making films and burnt all his work. read the book to find out more
