Just stupid by Andy Griffiths
Genre: Collection of short stories.
Just stupid is a book that has a bunch of stupid stories. One of them is called busting it is about a boy who is busting to go to the toilet and he has to go through a lot of things to get to the toilet. He uses his pee to take out a fire.
This old man tries to report what the boy has been doing in town. Because he was running and push and shoving people to the ground and one of them was the old man.
The boy meets a man with a rainbow shirt he looks kind of like a hippie. The boy asks him "can you tell me where the toilets are". He replies "it seems your to late" to the boy cause the toilets were closed. I give it a 6/10

How to Survive Summer Camp by Jacqueline Wilson
Genre - Realistic fiction
How to Survive Summer Camp is about a girl called Stella who goes to a summer camp while her mum and step dad go on a honey moon. Stella doesn't like it there and she causes all sorts of mischief.
One of the reasons she is not enjoying her time there is because the people that run the camp make her join in activities that she doesn't like and one of them she hates. She also doesn't like the people in her dorm, apart from one girl.
I really enjoyed reading this book because of all off the mischievous things Stella did and how she ended up surviving summer camp. This book is like a lot of the other kinds of book that Jacqueline Wilson writes but different from all the rest. I rate it 8/10

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
Genre - Science Fiction
The 5th wave is a story about a time in the future when the earth is invaded by aliens. This invasion, however, is unlike any that we have imagined before. The human race is systematically devastated in waves of tragedies. Each one worst than the last.
The book follows two main characters. One of them is Cassie. A teenager who wonders if she is the last human alive on earth. The start of the book relives the waves through her eyes.
I could not put this book down! I enjoy dystopian (end of world) literature so this had me hooked from the beginning. It had plenty of twists and turns that kept me wanting to read more. If you like Hunger Games and Maze Runner then I think you will enjoy this as well. I give it a 9/10
