Sweet Valley High Hard Choices
Enid is looking really forward to her grandmother coming and living with her and her mum. Enid remembers her grandmother as the cheerful, nice, kind type but when she arrives it's the opposite she's nasty, and demanding. Enid has to make lots of sacrifices such as missing out on school events, hanging out with her friends and not being able to spend time with her boyfriend. Enid's mother works long hours and is always spending time with her boyfriend which is why Enid has to make lots of sacrifices to look after her grandmother. Enid is having to make sacrifices just like a mother would have to so that the mother can spend time with her children but this time Enid's doing it to look after her grandmother. Enid has to choice between her grandmother or living her life, which is not an easy decision. I enjoyed this book because it does have hidden messages in it and they're valuable life lessons. ;)
