Goosebumps hall of Horrors Night of the giant everything.

This book is about a named Steven who did a magic show in front of the whole school. When he when home he started to shrink. As he shrunk his underpants fell with his jeans onto the floor then his top too. After he had shrunk he was thinking about how he had shrunk. He saw some ken clothes of barbie. He slipped on the clothes he didn't like the outfit but there was no choice he had to wear them. He thought that the to girls helping him was the answer to all of this because they might have put the shrinking potion inside the glass of water. So he went on an adventure through the garden to his friends house  facing some predators along the way once he was in his friend's house he walked to to her room and saw her on the computer working on her homework for the school. He could not get her attention so he hugged her leg then he got her attention while hanging on to her leg. After she had calmed down she started murdering him with her finger, stabbing him in the chest saying "is this really you" and Steven replied back saying "Yes it is me, now can you stop poking me with your finger."  "sorry" she said. "you did to me" "what"  "this, making me small " "no I did not" then she flicked him outside but he did not come all this way for nothing. So he went through the cat door and into the kitchen is. He climbed on to the bench and found himself on a tray of raw cookies while he was standing with cookies he was thinking about how he had two cookies that he had after the music lesson. the her father called Mr pinker put the cookies and me inside the oven to bake and cook. once he realized that I was in the oven he quickly pulled the tray out then said "Steven" “why are you so tiny”. Said mr Pinker  “It was you you made me tiny with your cookies.you put shrinking potion inside them.” said Steven. “All you” said Steven. Then Mr pinker said “no I bought these from the shop and I rolled them and baked then and I’ve just finish the rolling part”. “Let me take you home you parents must be worried to sick about you”. Said Mr Pinker. “But they will be worried to death when they see me like this.” said Stephen When Mr Pinker drove down the street to my house there where some people in white lab coats and white trousers.  When we walked closer to the house they stood up and said we can fix the damage that the boy has got. I looked at Mr Pinker in a worried look. Then the scientist grabbed me and through me in into the van and drove off. Where are we going we are going to our science lab in the woods

Hatchet is a good book to read . It is about a boy that is stuck in a forest for a couple of weeks.The petiole crashes  the plane in to  a pond and he dies. The boy survives and he collects his food and water and he builds a shalter by him self.
 I like this book because it is an adventurist book so ill give this book a 7/10

This book is a collection of small books. My favourite story is about a boy that has a friend called sky that owns a shop and she is getting kicked out and she needs money. The boy buys a rabbit off her that is pink with red eyes and hides the rabbit in his walls because he doesn't want his dad finding it. He looks after the rabbit and cleans the poo out and puts it outside and trys to find the rabbits that are making the poo. The rabbit starts to have babies and then more and more until he had 450 rabbits. The rabbits dig a hole in the wall and they go to sky's house and she doesn't need to leave her house.

I recommend this book for people that like short story's.
I give it a 9/10

This book is about a family that lives in Poland in the winter. The boys sister dies. They lose there house to the Russians and then they get taken to a camp and they stay there for a year. Then the Russians need more soldiers to the move to a different camp. They go on a train ride for 6 days and when they get there a lot of people are sick. They have to wait a while they and the dad finds some chocolate and they try make it last. They go on a boat and they see some Germans on the shore line and the boy tells his dad when they get off the boat and his dad gets angry because he says he should of told him the second he saw them.

I recommend this book to people that like war books.
I give it a 6/10

An Eagle in the Snow by Michael Morgurgo 

Genre - Non Fiction 

This book is about someone who could of possibly stopped World War 2. It's about a boy and mother who are on a train traveling to there aunts house because their town has just been blown up. In there carriage there is also a man and it turned out he helped the boy from the rubble. They ended up talking for a bit until a plane came up above them and they worked out that it was a German War plane and it was trying to destroy the train. So the train driver drove into a tunnel.

They stayed in there for a while and to pass time the man told the boy a story. He told a story about him and his friend at war. His friend, Billy did things that other people wouldn't. He scarified his life for his country many times but never die. One day at war he came face to face with a German, Billy could of shot him but he didn't instead he let him go. After war he ended up finding out that the guy he let go was Adolf Hitler.  

I really enjoyed reading this book because the whole story linked up really well. I also liked that it is a true story. I rate it 9/10

This book is about a young boy called Bruno and he lived in Berlin until he was 9 years old then he moved to out-with to a camp. Bruno felt very bored so he made a swing from a tire and ropes. As he was swinging he stood up on the swing gazing up at the sky then suddenly his foot slipped off and fell onto the ground. Soon Bruno noticed that his leg was bleeding and thought he was going to bleed to death. So Pavel picked him up off the ground and placed him on the dining table. Bruno noticed that he was putting some liquid on his leg and asked Pavel “what are you putting on my leg” said Bruno .“it is some betadine which I am putting on your leg” said Pavel.  The next day Bruno when and did some exploring along the big fence and he saw a dot that became a spec that became a blob that became a  figure the became a boy. As Bruno approached the boy he made friends with him and then every day after that he came back with some food. One evening captain cotlor came to the dining table when Pavle pord put the wine but he dropped the wine bottle to far down then he knocked the glass over then Captain Cotlor took him in the hallway then with anger he bettb up Pavle to his death while father was just eating his food like nothing had happened. The next morning Bruno's Mother said we are going back to berlin then Bruno remembered that Brian was waiting for him on the opposite of the fence it was poring down with rain as they swapped clothes and changed sides they got caught from a guard. They where tossed into a little shed with other bodies dead bodies. Brian and Bruno where murdered and killed inside a shed.

If I was to rate this book out of 10 I would rate it a 8/10 because this was a sad book.

The Spider Wick chronicles

The spider wick chronicles is a very good little read. I like it because of the creativity that it has. There are three main characters Jared and his brother and also his sister Mallory. The book is about a huge population of Faires. He finds them in a forest by his house and make friends and also enemies of the creatures that he meets. But there is one monster who wants a book explaining all the weaknesses of the monsters. He will stop at nothing to get that book.

" I like it because its short fun and makes me want to read more " - I give it a 7/10.

This book is a collection of small story's. My favourite story is called one finger salute, It is about a boy that lost both of his middle fingers when he was small because he put hes fingers under a lawnmower while it was moving. 

Every day when he comes home from school a group of boys tease him by pulling the finger at him. But one day he ate his pet lizards tail and then his finger grew back, but every time he pulls his fingers they come off and then they grow back again.

I recommend this book for people that like books with twists.

I give it a 7/10

This book is about a boy named Hemi and he is a orphan. His uncle Baldy Adopted Hemi and treats him like dirt.And one day Hemi and his cousin were playing next to a river and Hemi's cousin was walking along the
white fence and fell into the deep river. Hemi ran straight over to the bank and got a long hard ans strong stick to pull his cousin out of the water. So Hemi got her out of the water all wet and soggy. And then uncle Baldy went out side because he heard all the weird sounds coming from outside. He went out side and was very angry and was wounding what happen to Hemi cousin. Uncle Baldy was very angry with Hemi.

I rate this book are 3/5 Because it was not that good for me.

A winters day is about a boy called Adam he used to live at Poland. Adam and his family had to move to Russia because the Ukrainian people said to move from their house after they had no where else to go. Before all that Adams dad was doing a race with his horse and won when Adam went home Adams mum was shouting at Adam to call for his dad. Adam was really scared something bad had happened so Adam ran fast as he could but he couldn't find them any where.

When Adam ran back home his dad was all ready there. When he looked closely at what is happening his little sister Maria had gotten really sick and was sent to the hospital. When they were going they only made it half way and Maria didn't make it. They went back home and were crying and someone knocked on the door and told them to move so they did because a soldier told them so and that is where Adam and his family journey starts. I give it a 8/10

Grandpas great escape is about a boy named Jack and his grandpa. Jacks grandpa always used to tell stories to him every night. Jack was so obsessed in them he wanted to become a world war 2 pilot. Grandpa was to old and has lost some of his memories and always went outside at night a tries going up high places and says up up and away.

Jack was worried about him because his mum and dad keep saying to make him go to a old folk home. One night grandpa went missing again Jack and his parents always went outside to look for him. When they found him he was on top of a church building and the manager came and saw him up there and begged him to get of there. After grandpa got down the manager told them to send him to a old folk home called Twilight towers after hearing it Jack was really sad will Jack save his grandpa going away read to find out. I give it a 10/10

Cooper Flanders 14/15 Batman begins

Bruce Wayne AKA batman. When I looked at the book I emedially started reading it because when I was little I wanted to be a super hero but not any super hero  I wanted to be the might batman.Even know its a novel I took something away in this novel it said that he had plenty of  fears that he holds.He didn't say yeah im scared of heights he actually worked on to not be scared. Hes a good super hero he helps his city and stops all the crimes.Hes not like the baddies the steal.The city that he try it protect is Gotham City

Tomorrow When The War Began by John Marsden

Genre - Mystery 

This book is about a group of teenagers who go camping in a place called hell. They felt a bit bad though because they missed out on the big show that the most of the town goes to. They went camping for about 5 days but when they came back the town was deserted, there was literally no one there. 

They went to each other houses and found a fax from one of the teenagers parents saying that they had been held captive at the show ground and to go back into the bush. They didn't though for a couple of weeks they snooped around the town having various encounters with the army. A couple of them got shot and they killed three people ( not intentionally ). They ended up finding out that the army were getting in and out of the town by a bridge. So they stole a tank and blew it up. 

A theme I noticed in this book was courage because they didn't just give up they fought back and tried to help. I ended up enjoying this book. I rate it 8/10
