This book is about a old man (Skellig) living in a boys garage named Michael. Michael starts making regular check up's on this man Skellig and feeding him 27 and 53. Skellig suffers from arthritis and is very pale. Michael also has a baby sister who is sick and needs to stay at the hospital until she gets better. One day when Michael is with skellig he meets a girl named Mina. Michael and Mina become good friends. Mina then decides to move skellig out of the old dirty garage and put him in a old abandoned house. After skellig gets moved Michael Mina come back to the house and realize he is not in the room that they left him in he is up stairs in another room, they were amazed. Skellig was healing better and so was the baby. After a while Mina and Michael start to wonder what Skellig is he says that he is a angle, a beast. an owl but he doesn't even know him self. At the end of the book every thing turns good and they decide to call the baby joy.
