The boy in the striped pyjamas is about a boy called Bruno. Bruno lives in Berlin Germany but after Bruno's dad got a really important job and he had to move from the house, and was very sad. When they arrived from the long ride Bruno was not very sad because the house they moved in was nothing like his Berlin house. When Bruno and his sister picked their rooms in the new house Bruno chooses the room that is next to a window.
When Bruno looks outside he sees a place which has no grass and he sees people wearing striped pyjamas. When Bruno saw he was shocked and told his sister about it and acted smart. When Bruno had nothing to do he went outside and started exploring the new house. When he does he meets a boy over the fence in the distance he comes closer and introduces him self, and the boy introduced him self as Shmuel what do you think the fence is there for read and find out. I give it a 9/10
