At the start of the book Ron and his brothers come to where Harry was staying for the holidays and took Harry to there house where Ron's Mum was standing scared out of her whits. After Ron and harry have there breakfast they had to throw all of the gnomes out of there garden. At the end of there holiday they went to the station to go to Hogwarts but they couldn't go through the wall to get to the train so they had to take the flying car to get there when they got there they got a surprise from miss mic Gonigal who is the leader of Gryffindor they both got a detention the day after the detention Miss noris which is a cat got stabbed and put on the wall. Harry then wanted to discover who did this the following day he started to hear noises He went to the Library and did his homework but he kept hearing things so he went for a walk in the hall and saw spiders crawling across the wall so he followed them all the way to the girls bathroom and saw the spiders crawl in one of them so he casted a spell and a door appeared out of nowhere he walked in and found himself in a passage way with a giant pool of water at the end of it was Ron's sister standing with a man named tom riddles who had a diary. He said I knew you were going to come here Harry wasn't listening he was more focused on Ron's sister Ginny Harry then looked at the diary and asked Tom to give it to him but he answered back with go through this and spoke in snake and a ginormous long snake appear out of a statues mouth who came slivering right up to Harry who quickly sprinted away he turned a corner and ran down the passage but was blocked the snake was just about to come down the passage where he was trapped but Harry thought fast and grabbed a stone and threw it the other way the snake quickly turned and started slivering away this gave Harry a chance to run off as he did so he tripped over which gave away that he was running the over way the snake then tuned and slivered closer and closer towards him. Harry then saw a flash of silver and noticed it was a sword he grabbed it and ran off to the statue that the snake came out of the snake then smashed it's body against it and the sword flew out of Harry' grip and landed on the tip of the statue he then stabbed the snake and killed it and then grabbed one of the snakes fangs and grabbed the diary and stabbed that as well tom riddle then disappeared Ginny was free the story ended with Harry giving a elf a pair of socks which means that he owns him now.
