James and the giant peach is about a boy James who lives in a lighthouse on the sea side with his parents. until one awful day James' parents get trotted over buy a angry rhinoceros and James has to live with his awful aunt's aunt Sponge and aunt Spiker. Aunt Sponge looks like a fat bouncy ball, Aunt spiker is the complete opposite and looks like a skinny and is very ignorant. One day James meets a old man that gives James 100 little crocodile tongues the old man explained that what ever the tongues touch first magical things will happen James turned his head and the old man was gone. As James was walking back he fell over and spilt all 100 tongues on the floor. One tongues had got to the peach tree first and grew a massive peach the aunts saw this moment to make money and made people pay to see the peach. At the end of the day James got made to pick up the rubbish and James decides to take a bite of the peach but he sees a opining and he crawls in it and meets a lady bug a spider a worm and a grass hopper and a centerpeid and they fly the peach over to new York city with sea gulls and land on the very tip of the Eiffel tower.
this book is very good and i enjoyed it i give this book a 7/10
