At the start of this book Greg joins the swim team. He doses't like to swim so he tries to convince his Dad to let him quit the team and join the old ladies water jazz class. Greg's Dad doesn't let him quit so Greg finds a way to get out of swimming. He would swim a few lengths of the pool and then ask to go to the bathroom. Then he would just stay in there until swim practice was over. It was cold in there in his togs so he raped himself in toilet paper to keep him warm. Rodrick and Greg have been fighting lately so their parents have said that they can't go to the water slide park so they had to stay home. Frank, (Greg'd Dad), said to Rodrick that no body could come over. As soon as they left, Rodrick invited all of his friends and had a party that night.

I think that this is one of the best books by Jeff Kinney because it is a humourous book. I give this book a 9.5/10.
