This Book is about a boy named August who has a cleft palate. August has been home schooled his whole life until one day his parents decided to send him to a normal school where he meets some new friends Jack, and Summer (the main friends). Then he also experiences fake friends like Julian who pretends to be his friend because the principal told him to. On the front cover of this book has a really good quote. Which is "You can't blend in when you were born to stand out"
