The main characters of the book are Tom, Quinn, Elanor and Sebastian.
During their quest they stumble along a Unicorn, run in to Bog Men, meet Wilder the Witch, they find the Griffin, the Dragon, and the Sea Serpent.
The theme of the book is four friends that go on a adventure. The start of the book is them running away from Frostwick Castle because they set it on fire.They decide to set themselves an impossible quest of find a Griffin, Dragon and a Sea Serpent. They follow a stream until they find Witchwood Forest. Just as they go in they find a unicorn that leads them through the forest. While the unicorn is leading them through the forest they meet Wilder the Witch who is blind. The four friends set out to find a Griffin and pluck a feather to lay across her eyes to fix her blindness.The bog men are constantly trying to attack the four friends throughout the book.The four friends are now traveling to the lost isles trying to find a sea serpent, it was a long journey. When they got to the lost isles they saw a majestic sea serpent gliding through the water. The final and most dangerous part is finding the dragon. The dragon was the most hardest to find but they found it. When they found it the dragon it was as black as night, its fire was so hot it could melt just about anything in its path. When the dragon saw them it thought it was getting attacked so it attacked them but the four friends got away just.
Conclusion
Overall it was a good book and I liked all of the action in it can’t wait for the next book in the series.
