This book is about a girl called Tracy Beaker and her life. Tracy lives at a children's home which she calls the dumping ground. She believes that her mum is a famous actress and the reason that she doesn't see her is because she is too busy with her career. 

 She also has a foster mum that she visits in the weekend. Tracy likes her but she always believes that her mum will come and see her. When Tracy get a part in the school play she is really exited because her mum said that she was going to come. 
I really liked this book and I am enjoying Jacqueline Wilson series. I rate this book 8/10
