This book is about a boy named Will and an elephant named Oona. Will is on holiday in Malaysia with his mum because his farther has just died. He was a soldier and got killed in the war. Will's nana thought that they needed a holiday so she sent them to Malaysia. While Will is in Malaysia he takes a ride on an elephant called Oona along the beach. 

Then suddenly Oona starts sprinting into the jungle. Will has absolutely no idea what is happening. Then he realizes that Oona is heading for higher ground which can mean only one thing. There was a tsunami coming. Then he thought of his mum who was on the beach at the time he left. Oona  keep on running and for months and Will and Oona stayed in the jungle. 

I really liked this book because the tsunami actually happened into 2010. I rate this book 7/10
