Holes By Louis Sachar

Holes is about a young boy called Stanley Yalnets, who has a very poor family. His dads an inventor and was trying to invent a way to recycle old shoes. While Stanley was walking home, a pair of shoes dropped on him not knowing that they were stolen he rushed home to give them to his dad. Except the police caught him and he got sent to camp green lake. There wasn't actually a lake there. Stanley always blames bad things on his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. I really like this book because it got my attention right from the get go. 9/10 :)
