At the start of this book Greg and his best friend Rowley aren't friends any more because they had a fight. Greg is trying to find a new best friend to replace Rowley but none of his other friends have reached the standard that Rowley was at when they were friends. Greg's Uncle Gary is having his wedding and Greg doesn't want to go to it because this is the 4th time that his Uncle has been married. But Greg's Mum still made him go because other wise his Uncle wouldn't have the support that he needed. Greg is taking health classes at school. Greg hasn't heard half the words the teacher said during his lessons. Greg's home work from health class was to take care of an egg that he was given by his teacher. This activity was to see how well they would be as a parent and Greg failed it because his mum accidentally scrambled his egg for his breakfast the next day so he got a zero. Rowley has got his first pimple on his head and he is barging to Greg that he is becoming a man and that Greg isn't. Now Rowley thinks he is cool and is hanging out with the seniors at their school.
I recommend this book to people who like talking and humourous stories.
