One dark spooky midnight Sophie was still awake the window was open. Sophie went to the window to close it but she saw a man a very tall man so she ran to her bed and hid, but the tall man saw her and grabbed her out of the bed and sprinted away with her he put her down on a huge table and started to talk about humans.the tall man was called the bfg. The next day 9. giants came storming in to the cave, that the bfg and Sophie were. they all shouted you have a human bean but the bfg  refused that he had one so they searched the cave when they were satisfied that there were no kids they went out the bfg's cave the next day Sophie and the bfg went to the queen to tell her there are 9 brutes eating everyone she then phoned up some kings and dukes from some places and they all answered yes people have been taken out of there sleep the queen then asked the bfg what to do he said capture them so they did soldiers captured all 9 of them and threw them in to a massive hole and gave them giant cucumbers.

I give this book a 7 out of 10 because of all of the detail.
