Alex Rider Storm Breaker by Anthony Horowitz
Genre: Mystery/Thriller.
In this book the main character is a 14 year old boy named Alex Rider. Alex's uncle died and Alex was left with a woman named Jack who was a house keeper. Alex's uncle's name was Ian Rider and he was a spy with MI6. Alex didn't know that because Ian kept that a secret. Ian was Alex's guardian because both his parents died. Ian Rider got stabbed by a man named Yassan who was a Russia spy working for Herod Sayle. Alex got asked by Mr.Blunt, the head of MI6, to help them catch his uncle's killer. At first it was a lot to take in for Alex because he had no idea of what he was talking about. Alex went a long with Mr.Blunt and got trained to be a professional spy and catch Herod Sayle (The villain who is trying to get the Prime Minister). After 11 days Alex was trained to go under cover to stop Herod Sayle. Herod Sayle was working on this new computer. It was called the Storm-Breaker. It had a virus in it called Smallpox. Herod created them to help school children with their education but really it was to get revenge on the Prime Minister. When Herod was a child he went to the same school as the Prime Minister did and he was a bully to Herod Sayle. When the Prime Minister pressed the button it would activate all the Storm Breakers and set of the Smalpox virus. It would kill everyone it Britain. Alex Rider managed to stop Herod Sayle and his evil plan and was thanked by Mr.Blunt. Alex went back to school and had a normal life and then when Mr.Blunt wanted him to do another mission he would come and get him.
I recommend this book to people who like action and mystery stories.
I give this book 9/10
