This book is about a young boy Danny who lives with his father in a little caravan out back of their garage underneath a tree. Danny's  dad works in a gas station and is a fairly good pheasants hunter. Danny wants to help his dad and comes up with a wonderful plan called the sleeping beauty which is to put sleeping pills in a raisin and to leave the raisins on the ground in the forest and for the pheasants to eat and it will put them to sleep.
