Karmen Maxted-Jensen 15/20
Tomorrow When The War Began By John Marsden

Tuesday 9 August

This book is about a group of teenagers/friends that go camping in a place called hell. They plan to go there for about 5 days. Once the 5 days were up they travel back to Ellie's house to find that the house is abandoned and her dogs were dead. They went to Homers house then Corries to find that they were in the same state. They find a message in the fax for Corrie from her father saying go bush (meaning go back to hell). They go to each others house and collect food and toiletries to stay alive. Then they head into town by the showgrounds and see that people are being held captive by foreign troops.

That's where my categories come in trust and friendship. The group of friends have to trust one another in order to stay alive. Homer and Ellie make a homemade bomb to throw at the troops that are trying to chase them. Ellie and Lee form a wonderful friendship and have taken the next step.  ðŸ˜‰ðŸ’žðŸ’‘ I won't spoil anymore but I really enjoyed this book it had romance and action. It also had a bit of adventure because of them going camping at Hell. 8/10
